A net will be called on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each
month at 20:30 local time using the Centralia Wireless
Association repeater on 147.270 MHz, + offset, PL tone 103.5
Hz. All stations are invited to participate in the
semi-monthly nets. You do not need to be a member of a local
Amateur Radio club or the American Radio Relay League to
participate in - or support - auxiliary or emergency communications.

All Marion County AuxComm stations are requested to participate in the monthly test. A net will be called on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 local time for the purpose of testing emergency VHF equipment which is not regularly used. The hospitals and the EOCs are expected to be on the air for this monthly test. The monthly test will be on the Marion County AuxComm VHF simplex frequency of 147.420 MHz, PL tone 103.5 Hz.
During an emergency, an emergency net will be called on the W9CWA repeater on 147.270 MHz, + offset, PL tone 103.5 Hz, for as long as the repeater remains on the air. If the repeater goes off the air, stations are directed to meet on the repeater output frequency of 147.270 MHz SIMPLEX mode. Alternate operations will be on the Marion County AuxComm VHF simplex frequency of 147.420 MHz.
The Marion County AuxComm Severe Weather Net will be
activated on the W9CWA 2m repeater (147.270 MHz) when:
1. A severe thunderstorm warning or tornado warning is issued
for Marion County;
2. Warning(s) have been issued immediately to our west or
southwest in Clinton and/or Washington Counties, and it
becomes obvious the threat will extend into Marion County.
